Equipment
Strike measurements
the current gold standard for strike outout analysis. mounted and adjustable with research level tolerances. ability to measure speed, power and calculated real world 'impact force', along with endurance and reaction times from a wide range of strike types

PowerKube
sEMG
Muscle activity
Although muscle activation can be assumed, sometimes it best to measure it - surface electrodes confirm the extent as to which muscles are turning on and working- This can be used with exercise activation, and also electrode ems stimulation to ensure activity.

Multi-cam
BIOMECHANICS
Using fixed positions and angles, multiple cameras and stanfords opensim software, it's possible to convert strikes to basic anatomic movements, letting us look deeper and check their true effectiveness. Certainly a time consuming process, but worth it to diagnose issues.

Education
DEGREES & POSTGRAD
Based at a range of unis, depending on my specific major at the time. Fitness training at AUT, then sport physiology at University of Auckland, with nutrition and sport nutrition at Massey University, and Biomechanics undergrad/postgrad at both Massey and Auckland

Experience
20+ YEARS - THai FIgher
25 years in muay thai, including extensive years and fight experience fighting professionally in thailand, reaching ranked positions in their most competitive weight classes. Signigicant time as a nutritionist, strength coach, and muay thai coach, and added research experience

Other
More tools available
depending on the situation a range of other equipment and methods may be used- heart rate monitoring, blood glucose monitoring, ketone and urinalisis, body fat via b.i. or manual testing. also looking to introduce lactic acid monitoring and oxygen exchange
