ABOUT US
The goal here at Fight Lab, is to provide a comfortable and safe environment where people of all ages and experiences can learn and train; be it Muay Thai, fitness, boot-camps, or whatever else your goal may be.
Offering controlled and fun kids or beginner classes, to competitive fighters- age or experience is no issue, and Fight Lab will most certainly be a place for you to feel at home.
My personal goal is to ensure that I am teaching from both experience and education, for the simple reason that I can then know my teaching is safe, correct, and effective.

DEAN FULTON
I took up Muay Thai about 20 years ago, training part time at Strikeforce Gym under Aaron Boyes, whilst working as a personal trainer and studying at university. After completing first, a Diploma in Fitness Training from AUT, then moving to the University of Auckland to do my Bachelor of Science in Sport Physiology, I started to add in yearly trips to Thailand to make the most of my semester breaks. I then switched to Massey University to also complete my Bachelor of Science in Human Nutrition. In addition, I took a number of extra higher level papers in biomechanics and rehabilitation, as these were strong interests of mine.
After graduating I worked for a number of years as a private nutritionist, also offering strength and conditioning plans and advice, but decided to take a break and move to Chiang Mai, Thailand (which by this point had become a second home) to train and fight full time for a few years.
Now after returning to New Zealand, its time to spread what I have learnt; not just in the ring, but also the classrooms, the gyms and the labs.
fLOR RAVASIO
Flor is an experienced fighter, with training and fight experience in both New Zealand and Thailand. Prior to Muay Thai, Flor was a long time track and field competitor in Argentina, and with her dad playing rugby for the Pumas (and touring New Zealand in the 80's) the competitiveness is certainly in her blood!
Flor is running the women's Muay Thai classes, and assisting in the beginners and fighters classes, but will often be training alongside you in the circuit classes, so don't be afraid to push her!
